Cooking for a Cause is a meaningful team building activity that brings people together to cook with purpose, turn rescued ingredients into nutritious meals, and support vulnerable communities while reducing food waste in Vietnam.

Activity Agenda

(The activity lasts approximately 3–4 hours.)

  • A VietHarvest representative delivers a welcome speech and shares insights on the current state of food waste in Vietnam.

  • Participants are guided by a chef to prepare and package meals, using rescued ingredients provided by VietHarvest when available.

  • Participants enjoy the meals they have prepared together.

  • VietHarvest’s refrigerated truck delivers the meals to partner charities. Participants may choose to travel independently to personally distribute the meals to beneficiaries.

  • Group photo session and program wrap-up.

  • The program can be customized to meet the specific needs of each organization.

Cost

The cost includes:

  • Program design tailored to the objectives of each group

  • Venue with full facilities and equipment

  • All ingredients, cooking tools, and necessary materials

  • Activity coordination, support staff, and coordination with partner charities

  • Refrigerated truck to transport prepared meals to beneficiary organizations

  • Post-program impact report (upon request)
