VietHarvest Receives Funding from the Consular Club of Ho Chi Minh City

The Consular Club of Ho Chi Minh City’s fundraising dinner, held on September 30 at the InterContinental Saigon, raised the largest amount ever from a single event in the club’s 29-year history.

VietHarvest is the only social enterprise among the three organisations supported. The donated funds will be used to develop an operating facility in Ho Chi Minh City, where rescued food can be received, stored, and transformed into nutritious meals, while also serving as a venue for Nourishing Community activities and events.

Sharing with the press, Ms. Milena Padula – President of the Ho Chi Minh City Consular Club, said: “This fundraising dinner is a clear demonstration of an extremely important spirit that is Together we are stronger. Accordingly, solidarity and joint efforts can change the world.”
