Food Drive is a meaningful activity that VietHarvest regularly organizes, in collaboration with schools and organizations to raise awareness about food waste and support communities in need. This time, we teamed up with True North International School and the student-led ZeroWaste Project, initiated by Nghia, to run a successful campaign!
Over the course of 3 weeks, TNIS students and families came together to donate 800+ food items, totaling 165 kg—enough to support over 150 people in need.
Nghia shared: “After visiting three locations (Phuc Tue Center, KymViet Space, and GLC Charity), we realized how privileged we are compared to those with disabilities or financial struggles. We are happy to contribute something to help them learn, work, and live like us. We were deeply touched by the warm welcome from everyone and had fun interacting with them.” A big thank you to TNIS and the ZeroWaste team for making this meaningful Food Drive possible!
