16 Jan VietHarvest launches Food Rescue Program at Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi Centre
The food collection on December 25 marked the first time VietHarvest directly recovered surplus food of assured quality from Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi Centre. All food was received in accordance with strict food safety procedures, ensuring quality before being redistributed to the social organizations supported by VietHarvest.
This milestone represents the beginning of a partnership between the two parties, united in their shared commitment to reducing food waste and creating positive, lasting impact for the community.
Once received by VietHarvest, surplus food of good quality was promptly redistributed to vulnerable communities. Beyond supporting daily meals, these food donations also helped ease the operational and financial pressures faced by social organizations in caring for their beneficiaries.
