20 Jun Share Meals. Nourish Hearts: Donate to VietHarvest before 30 June 2026
This end of financial year, VietHarvest invites our supporters in Australia and beyond to help us rescue more good food, share more nourishing meals, and bring care to communities across Vietnam.
Every day, quality food is at risk of going to waste. It may come from a hotel kitchen after an event, a bakery at the end of the day, a supplier with surplus stock, or a food business with products that are still safe and good to eat but can no longer be sold.
At VietHarvest, we believe good food should reach people, not landfill. Through our food rescue work, VietHarvest collects quality surplus food from food businesses and redirects it to charities, shelters, social centres, children, young people, people with disabilities, low-income families, and communities who need support.
A rescued meal can mean many things.
It can be breakfast before class.
It can be lunch shared at a youth centre.
It can be fresh ingredients for a shelter kitchen.
It can help a community partner stretch their limited budget further.
It can bring relief to the people who cook, care, teach, and support others every day.
More than a meal, rescued food can carry care.

For the young people served by our charity partners, shared food is often part of a wider sense of safety, dignity, and belonging. When VietHarvest delivers rescued food, it helps community partners bring more variety, nutrition, and consistency to the meals they provide. This work may look simple from the outside: collect good food and deliver it to people who need it, but behind every delivery is careful coordination. Food must be identified, checked, handled safely, transported, stored, matched with the right charity partner, and delivered in time. Donors need guidance. Community partners need communication. Food safety must always come first.
That is why your support matters.
Your donation helps VietHarvest fund the everyday work behind food rescue, from logistics and coordination to food safety, storage, transport, and community partner support. It helps us keep good food moving to where it is needed most.
