Vietharvest funded by Consular Club HCMC

The Fundraising Dinner on September 30 of the Consular Club of Ho Chi Minh City, taking place at Intercontinental Saigon, raised the most funds from a single event in its 29-year history.

VietHarvest is the only social enterprise among three organisations supported by this; we planned to use the money donated to build an operating facility in Ho Chi Minh City, where we can set up to receive, store, and turn rescued food into nutritious meals as well as host events for our Nourishing Community activities.

Sharing with the press, Ms. Milena Padula – President of the Ho Chi Minh City Consular Club, said: “This fundraising dinner is a clear demonstration of an extremely important spirit that is Together we are stronger. Accordingly, solidarity and joint efforts can change the world.”

Consular Club Funding

This donation will help VietHarvest build an operating facility in Ho Chi Minh City to receive and preserve rescued food and then turn it into nutritious meals for those in need. In addition, the venue will host a series of “Nourish our Community” events.

Thank you, Consular Club in Ho Chi Minh City, for organizing this significant event to raise funds for local charity organizations contributing greatly to our community helping activities. Learn more at: www.vietharvest.com.
